Grizzly Joe

Joe started his art career as a young child who used to draw on himself daily. No one was surprised at the career path he took. After finding a passion for art in high school Joe left to college at Cal State University Northridge and majored in art. Two years later he transferred to San Diego State and completed his degree there. Joe was voted a top 10 San Diego tattoo artist twice in the City Beat readers poll. He has been featured in the San Diego Reader, City Beat, Temecula Daily, Tattoo Artist Magazine, and Tattoo Artist International.

While receiving her education she also spent time tattooing and applying her drawing/ painting skills to the trade. She has had her artwork shown with Conception Arts, Thumbprint Gallery, Bixby Knolls, 2nd Street Gallery, and New Profanity. Her tattoo style is generally illustrative- with a special focus on black/gray and dotwork. She also does color pieces and enjoys doing paint stroke/ watercolor tattoos. Marissa does a lot of floral work, darker imagery, animal/insect pieces, and conceptual tattoos.Due to her background in art she is always creating original flash. Brian Riggs

Brian is a Southern California native and longtime artsy weirdo. With a lifelong love of all different types of arts, he became a tattoo apprentice at Sea Hag Tattoo Parlour in late 2018. Under the guidance and supervision of Joe Wittenberg and Shaun Kyle, he began tattooing in early 2019. While he's currently open to and learning as many styles as possible, he hopes to develop his own personal style of tattooing and progressing with that through the years. Tattooing is a sacred art form to him and he considers it an honor to be allowed to be a part of people's personal artistic expression..
